Action International MinistriesAction International Ministries is an evangelical, nondenominational missionary-sending agency working in urban centers of Asia, Africa, and Latin America.
Action International is committed to fulfilling the Great Commission of the Lord Jesus Christ as given in Matthew 28:18-20, ACTION works in cooperation with local churches and other national organizations to reach people for Christ (evangelism), train them in Christian living (discipleship), and assist them in their physical and economic needs (development).
Goiania, BrazilAfter transitioning into Brazil, the Brauns have found ways to serve the Lord. Their main focus is the training of pastors and leaders. Another one of their ministries is a radio program recording studio they established on their property. They use the studio to record the New Testament, Psalms, and various preaching messages onto cd's. They then distribute these cd's to non-believers. Iria has used her counseling ministry in her very own neighborhood, which houses three drug rehabilitation centers. The Brauns administer weekly bible studies at these centers and have had extraordinary results.
Personal InformationThe Brauns have now entered their 26th year of ministry. They have spent 20 years serving in Ecuador, and roughly five years in Brazil. They are delighted to watch as two of their children are now following their footsteps and finding their own ways to serve Christ through full-time missions.
Prayer RequestsAs the Brauns continue to look for ways to expand their ministry, they have run across some needs. They are seeking funds to cover the cost of a computer to be used at the studio, funds to expand their building, materials for their workshops, and funds for a pickup truck. Most importantly, please just continue to pray for their ministries as they try to touch lives.
